I hesitate to let the secret out…..after many trips to SPB, this is the best apartment I have seen. Beautiful restoration, superb detail throughout, ideal location(right between the State Russian Museum and the Hermitage)…..high ceilings, very large light and airy rooms, great kitchen, very nice bathroom(s!). This apartment is done by people who really care. I hope this can be my base in St.Petersburg next year and whenever I can make it over there.

I was in October 2009 with all my family (8 people) AND is the best large apartment in SPB to rent in comparison of the others that I saw on the internet. Is beautiful and is perfectly located. Ricardo from Mexico.
7 of us rented the apartment over New Year and had a wonderful stay. The apartment is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and could not be faulted. The location is ideal – a short stagger away from Palace Square! I would definitely stay again.

What a wonderful apartment!
For those who want true first class accommodation this is highly recommendable.
We, 4 persons, had a fantastic week in St Petersburg, even it was minus 25C outside.
Every day we looked forward to return to the wonderful and warm apartment after strolling around in the city.
Most, sights are in walking distance. Shops, restaurants, ATM´s, even the Winter Palace are within 5 minutes

We stayed last week in this wonderful apartment, my husband and I , for a week .
We are used to rent houses and apartments when we rae travelling abroad , we are renting ourselves a cottage* on our property in the Loire Valley .
This apartemnt is just perfect : spotless, beautiful renovation , very comfortable and safe, a lot of space and light .
Perfect location at only 3 minutes walking from the Ermitage , and most of all the museums,palaces, churches , Mariinsky , concerts hall setc.. are within walking distances .
A week is not enough to discover Sr Petersburg , we ‘ll certainly come back again in this wonderful place, may be in Winter ?

We stayed in the apartment from June 16-20, 2010 during our first visit to Saint Petersburg. The Crowleys are wonderful hosts. From the first time I found them on the web they have been most helpful and gracious and made us very welcome. Arranging the visit and entry and exit from the apartment was very easy.
The apartment was even better than portrayed on the website. Everything is very well done. Top notch furniture, finishes and appliances. The location is perfect. Easy walking distance to Hermitage, shopping on Nevsky Prospect, Saint Isaac’s, Admiralty, Metro, boat to Peterhof, etc.
There are many fine restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. We recommend Terrassa restaurant – http://www.terrassa.ru/en/
Our english speaking guide, Polina, knew that restaurant, and was a joyful ambassador for Saint Petersburg and was very informative on Russian culture, food, history, art and architecture. She can be contacted at polinella@inbox.ru

We’re a group of 5 staying in the apartment in mid-June. The apartment is spacious and well located. Major sights are within walking distance. The service of the Crowleys is attentive. It made our stay in St Pete even more enjoyable.

We stayed at this fantastic apartment from September 7-10, 2010. The rooms are even bigger than they seem on the pictures. The location, the furnishing and the personal contact were first-class. I want to tell you how much we had a great time in your apartment in Saint Petersburg.
We had an incredible time with my friend, and the apartment was simply perfect.
Well furnished, with good quality electronic. (Even if we did not used everything, I saw there is everything that we could need inside)

Quite quiet, but just 100m from the main street.
Nobody should come in St Petersburg, without living in this place.
We, three work colleagues from Finland, stayed in this apartment for three days – and wished we could have stayed longer. The apartment is situated literally next to Nevsky prospekt which makes it a perfect base for walking around the heart of St. Petersburg. For example, it takes only five minutes to walk to the Hermitage and ten minutes to the Kazan Cathedral, where is also the nearest metro station to take you to further away places. The apartment itself is beautiful. Each room is decorated and furnished with a real sense of style – and with love and care. There is absolutely nothing we could complain about the apartment. We wanted to move in!
Fabulous apartment with tons of amenities, exceptionally clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. It’s as nice as the photos and lives up to all of it’s positive reviews. Owners are extremely helpful and thoughtful. Location is absolutely fantastic – less than 2 blocks to the Hermitage. I would return to this apartment in a heartbeat. Don’t stay anywhere else – this place is great!
6 of us rented the apartment for 4 nights in April 2010. The apartment and location is perfect. Light and well appointed rooms throughout, conveniently located close to major attractions, restaurants, shops, etc. The owners were extremely helpfully, offering advice and information beyond what I expected. Highly recommended!
We stayed in this awesome apartment for several weeks in December 2010. The owners are so great!! They really have a beautiful place and are so generous to rent it out to travelers. They are very gracious people and are there to help you in any way they can. We have small children and they helped us find things for them to do in the middle of the winter. They also helped us with directions and tourist ideas, et al. They are really awesome people and feel really fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet them and stay in their beautiful home. The location of this apartment is great as well. It was comforting to our children to know they could walk down the stairs to McDonalds if we needed to
….definitely an advantage since we were staying in Russia for several weeks. The rooms are very large and there is plenty of room for a family of 4 to 6. The upgrades in this apartment are so beautiful. Whether you are a couple looking for a romatnic get a way or a family with children – this apartment is just perfect! If we ever have the opportunity to return to St. Petersburg, this is definitely the place we would stay! Good luck!
The location of the aparment could not be better. Just a 5 minute walk from the Hermitage and other famous spots. The Hosts are very helpful and the apartment is a real ***** accomodation.
We will definitely come back for another visit. 4 days in this city are definitely to short.
Fantastic stay. Great central apartment. We felt like “at home”. Kitchen is well equiped – and we cooked a lot. You can easily stay with 6 person. Unfortunately the bed in the African bedroom has a quite small blanket – and only one. (Apologies, our housekeeper must not have been paying attention!)
Fabulous apartment that I would recommend to mature couples without kids because I would not like to see any of the fine furniture being damaged. The location is great for sightseeing, shopping and theatres. Both Peter and Tatyana are great and very helpful indeed. Overall we had a very good experience and impression of St Petersburg and will definitely visit again.
We second the reviews posted about this apartment. A not so small matter of non-European tourists – the owners provide a cell phone so you can text them with your questions or make calls in Russia. All you have to do is replace the “card” for a 100 rubles when it runs out. The lady who takes care of the apartment and who gives you the keys does NOT speak English, so if you are not sure about something, engage in some “sign language” or demonstrate that you are following the right directions for the washer, oven, etc. The owners leave explicit directions which you will find on the desk in the living room. The availability of air-conditioning during the buggy Piter summers is a blessing and a aid for blocking out city noises.
It was great to stay in this wonderful apartment which is nicely renovated and perfectly central located. We fully enjoyed our trip in St. Petersburg with this place to relax and start new seeings.

We stayed 5 days at this wonderful place. The apartment is even nicer than on the pictures. Tatyana is great and gave us a warm welcome. Peter was a perfect host and everything was absolutely fine. It is definitely one of the best places to stay in Piter. We are already planing to come back, this time in summer!

My only advice would be to rent this appartment without any hesitation. Everything is organized to make you have good time and to feel you at home. The decoration is very beautiful and the location is just perfect (closed to nevski and ermitage museum). A lot of info is available in english to make your trip easier. The host and his friends are on hand if you need something during your stay. Have a good time in st petersbourg !

This apartment is stunning, exceptionally clean with all western amenities provided. We were met promptly at the pre-arranged time and instructions were also provided in English. Our greeter also arranged a taxi home, which met us at the appointed time, knew where we where going and the pre-arranged fair. The location is outstanding, just steps from the Hermitage, many other sights and the metro. Peter was a wonderful, very helpful host! Highly recommended.
We stayed for 2 nights in this apartment, just off of Nevsky and it was perfect. We had 2 families, so we were looking for a place with 2 bathrooms. Between the 2 families, there were 4 adults and 5 kids, ages 6 – 12. The owners were accommodating of our situation and offered to get an extra mattress for the one kid who didn’t have a bed (the other 4 doubled up on the sofa beds).
The apartment is beautifully remodeled, easy to find, convenient to all the sites of Moscow and has McDonalds on the first floor. We’ve rented apartments in St. Pete and other European cities many times, and this was by far our best experience. You won’t be sorry if you rent this apartment! I highly recommend it.
