Amazing apartment in a location that could not be more central. Just a couple minutes walk from State Hermitage. The building itself is famous for its history. The apartment had all facilities we needed, from a baby cot to even a laptop and a printer. We liked that there was an elevator – very important for baby strollers. All in all, lovely apartment which we can only recommend!

The apartment itself is beyond description, pictures hardly do it justice. Very spacious, airy, and bright. 5 Minutes walk to Hermitage, Nevsky, and Metro. Peter was excellent at handling any and all of our questions, and was even so thoughtful as to provide local cell phones (which we did not need). Be aware that the windows overlook a somewhat busy street, so if you are alight sleeper, you might want to consider bringing some earplugs to avoid being woken up.
We recently spent a week in the apartment with another couple. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of this home. It is a beautiful place with all of the amenities one would need. The kitchen has plenty of dishes/pots/appliances including a full stove and refrigerator/freezer. The living room is well-appointed with a TV, laptop, desk, travel books, and comfortable seating. The space is large and light, and was nicely redone. The bedrooms have plenty of storage, and the bathrooms are a nice size. Everything is clean and in order, and we really enjoyed staying here.
The apartment is located very centrally to many sites, restaurants, banks, and grocery stores.
Despite it’s busy location, it is very quiet inside with no street noise.
The air conditioning was appreciated since we had several very warm days.
The elevator made it easy to move our luggage in and out.
We loved St. Petersburg, and having this apartment as our base, was a real plus!!
location location location… one get everything just within 100 to 500 mtr of distance. Hermitage Palace square just across the road. Just down there is a Mc Donald , opp subway Berger king and plenty of restaurants. Metro just nearby. I recommend this to everyone. My special wishes to Peter and Tatyana for making our stay comfortable. They even arranged taxi to airport. Peter specially paid back excess money also which was calculation mistake.
We had a superb holiday in a superb City staying in this superb very centrally located apartment. A modern, well appointed property wanting for nothing. The jewel in the crown for us was the help given by the owner pre holiday regarding numerous subjects during our stay. From booking taxis’, to local food shops, Costs of things, sightseeing, even helping book a return taxi to the airport. Every question was answered promptly and comprehensively.

This apt is very convenient to get to attractions. Plenty of places to eat and buy small amounts of groceries. Comes with washing machine!! Close to shopping at Nevsky Prospekt. Close to metro even though we never used it. We walked everywhere. The building has an elevator so you won’t have to carry your bags upstairs. Peter is very helpful with info and delivered on all his promises. No noise from the McDonald’s downstairs!
This apartment was beautiful, clean, and very well equipped. Although above a McDonald’s, there was no noise or smell from the restaurant at all. This elegant apartment was within walking distance of everything we needed to see in downtown St Petersburg; even with a wheelchair, it was worth it to carry the wheelchair up the one flight stairs every time. I would recommend this apartment to anyone going to St. P and look forward to our next visit!!!
I spent 6 days in St Petersburg with my sister and my parents, who are in their seventies. The apartment was really great, extremely clean and comfortable and with lots of facilities (washing machine, microwave, wifi, dishwasher, fully equiped kitchen and bathrooms, etc). The decoration is really beautiful to the minute detail. The owner’s very detailed instructions about the flat and surroundings, and help with the taxi for the way back to the airport were very helpful and made the whole visit very smooth. Not to mention the location, in the heart on the city and practically next to the Hermitage!
Moneywise, it was cheaper that staying in a hotel, with the advantage that we could have our independence and enjoy relaxed breakfasts with bread from the excellent local bakery.
Being so well looked after has made our visit to St Petersburg a truly wonderful experience. I will not go back to SP unless I manage to stay in Bolshaya Morskaya 11 again.
We had a wonderful stay in the apartment in St. Petersburg during the White Nights. The location is perfect and the wide window sills in the kitchen and living room are great for people watching. Everything was within footsteps of the apartment, including the ATM, groceries, and of course the Hermitage. The apartment is spotless and well provisioned. The Wifi was a big plus, as was the complementary Chrome Book on the desk in the living room. We were 7 adults so we used the fold-outs in the living room and kitchen. Everyone was comfortable. We would definitely come back or recommend it to friends!

I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals around the world. This one has everything that I look for. The apartment is spacious, recently remodeled to a very high standard, impeccably clean, and right in the center of town. This part of St. Petersburg can be busy at night (horses trotting by; white-night fireworks) but the double glazing mutes the noise. We (two couples) stayed ten days. After a week a thorough cleaning, including a change of linens, was done. There’s plenty of room for storing and hanging clothes in the main bedroom. An open, large steamer trunk provides storage in the second bedroom. Bathroom fixtures and showers are modern. The kitchen appliances occupy a wall in the dining area, so are convenient for gathering around to prepare light meals. The living room can be separated from this by closing opaque glass sliding doors. Large windows look out on the street scene one level down. It is altogether a very good place to stay.
The owner was most helpful, prompt with answers to questions we had before we arrived, and quick to return the security deposit, which got back to PayPal before we got home.
We didn’t find anything negative. The entry hall to the building itself is a bit shabby, but that’s nothing the owner can fix, and you forget it when you enter the apartment. Furnishing in the two large rooms is a bit spare, and another table or so might have been useful for us, but that’s a decorating decision that provides the spaciousness of the rooms. In all, this is a rare opportunity to live in a modern, we’ll-maintained apartment in the center of town.
This is a great apartment in a great location, only a block off Nevsky Prospekt. There are two bedrooms and two showers (one bath). There is also a couch that pulls out into a bed. In our bath/shower there was always hot water, though in the other, hot water was a little spotty. It has new appliances: stove, washer, microwave. New parquet floors (take you shoes off like all Russians do). Tatyana is very knowledgeable and helpful, though her English is spotty. I speak Russian so that was not a problem. If there is a criticism, it would be that the the place could use a couple of coffee tables in front of the two couches. All in all I highly recommend this as a place to stay in St. Petersburg.
Amazing flat 100% authentic and right in the best spot in St Petersburg. I went there for business but would suit any kind of trip experience (family, friends, romantic, business, …).

– we loved the location- very near the Hermitage and walking distance from everything we wanted to see. A 20-25 minute walk straight down Nevksy from the train station.
– excellent condition, extremely clean, and equipped with everything you will need, including dishwasher and clothes washer, Wifi. Even a computer, printer and local cell phone!
– filtered water system was great as Lonely Planet recommends against drinking tap water
– the owners (Peter and Yana) were great and very responsive throughout the entire process from booking to staying to damage deposit refund
– some street noise (people and traffic) throughout the night because it is so central and a 2nd floor. Hard to avoid unless staying well out of the core and away from major roads, which even then is no guarantee. No noise at all from adjacent apartments.
– lots of restaurants of all price ranges nearby, plus lots of stores where it was easy to buy the basics for breakfast and other meals
– Hermitage tip: buy the 2 day pass online and in advance (not available at the Hermitage). Not much more than a 1 day and you will want the extra time.
– we have friends visiting St P next year and have recommended the try to book Peter and Yana’s place
Perfect in every way: location-location-location, immaculately clean, quiet, spacious rooms, well appointed furnishings & thoughtful amenities throughout, a library with English guides & other books, and a very impressive website (the best!) with a ton of helpful information. Most of all, gracious and welcoming owners who responded promptly to every inquiry made sure our 6 nights’ stay was comfortable made all the difference! Tatiana, the cheerful manager who checked us in/out, though she did not speak English, managed expertly with sign language & demos for every appliance, and ordered for us a fixed-price taxi-van to the airport on departure. All transactions were most professionally handled. We are a little hesitant to let word of this absolute gem out, but recommend this apartment unconditionally without reservations.
My family just returned from a 6 night stay in St Petersburg. We found Peter and Yana’s apartment online, and hoped the apartment was as beautiful as the pictures. Not only was the apartment just as spacious, beautiful and immaculate as the photos, but our hosts were incredibly helpful and accomodating.
In my excitement to travel, I began to write Peter months before our trip with all sorts of questions about much more than just the apartment! He was so kind to share his knowledge and advice about everything I needed, well before we even committed to rent.
When the time came to prepare, he made suggestions to make our trip and logistics better and I felt I found a friend in someone I had never met.
This apartment is a home with so many attributes in a fabulous location..it allowed us to gather and visit in a way that couldn’t happen at a hotel, for a much better price split 5 ways!
In addition Peter and Yana shared everything in the apartment! The PC, the mobile phone, and all the tour books and information to browse far exceeded our expectations!

The Perfect Place to stay in Petersburg
We just returned from two chilly but fabulous weeks in St. Petersburg. The day after we returned home, I checked the calendar for this property’s availability in June! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The location is better than perfect, and the apartment has everything you could possibly need or want. I had a couple of questions after we arrived, and I was able to get those answered immediately. I can’t think of any reason to hesitate – this should be your first choice for a vacation rental in St. Petersburg!
Stayed for a week in early September in this great apartment. Spacious and recently remodeled. Perfect locations – one block to the metro and Nevisky Prospect – 3-5 minute walk to the Hermaitage Museum. The owners, Peter and Yana, live in Ireland but still provided helpful information and Tatiana serves as your local greeter and host and all do a speldid job. Highly recommend this place to all – you won’t be disappointed.
The apartment is immaculate. The location is ideal (although a little noisy!).
The administration of the rental is very professional and easy. The amenities are also very good. It was very convenient to have wifi, a t.v., washer, and even a local phone if needed. Our local tour guide was quite impressed by our accommodations too!

Our entire family of 8 persons stayed in Peter & Yana’s apartment on Bolshaya Morskaya this month in august 2012, and we loved it!!
The location of the apartment was great -right in the center of the city and a short walk from the Hermitage and all the center city museums & attractions and only 1 minute walk from admiralteiskaya metro station. The service was wonderful, and hospitality was warm. We were treated royally! The apartment also had a nice kitchen with all the appliances including microwave, fridge, stove, oven, & dishwasher; also a washing machine to wash clothes plus towels, soap, hair products & other useful travel items.
We greatly recommend this as luxuruous center-city accomodations with great service!!!
All was exactly as described. The owners are very helpful, and of course honest. The apartment is very clean, tastefully decorated, and and the kitchen is a treat. The location was incredible — just off Nevsky Prspt, a few hundred meters from the Hermitage. Restaurants very convenient, as was food and beer/wine/spirits shopping. The McDonalds downstairs was not an issue — even at night we could never hear noise — since the walls are so thick. We were there for a week, and the apartment made life easy for us.
Our stay in St. Petersburg was fantastic. The flat is very modern, open and airy. It was perfectly located within walking distance to all attractions and the kitchen was very convenient for making a few meals at home. It easily slept 6 people and it was obvious that much care and attention has gone into this place as it has all the comforts of home, including a speedy Internet connection! The owners were very helpful when it came to answering questions about visa registration, arranging taxis and being flexible with check in and check out times. Our deposit was returned promptly after check out. We would absolutely recommend anyone to stay in this flat given the opportunity!!
We stayed for 2 nights in this apartment, just off of Nevsky and it was perfect. We had 2 families, so we were looking for a place with 2 bathrooms. Between the 2 families, there were 4 adults and 5 kids, ages 6 – 12. The owners were accommodating of our situation and offered to get an extra mattress for the one kid who didn’t have a bed (the other 4 doubled up on the sofa beds).
The apartment is beautifully remodeled, easy to find, convenient to all the sites of Moscow and has McDonalds on the first floor. We’ve rented apartments in St. Pete and other European cities many times, and this was by far our best experience. You won’t be sorry if you rent this apartment! I highly recommend it.

Our greeter also arranged a taxi home, which met us at the appointed time, knew where we where going and the pre-arranged fair. My only advice would be to rent this appartment without any hesitation. Everything is organized to make you have good time and to feel you at home. The decoration is very beautiful and the location is just perfect (closed to nevski and ermitage museum). A lot of info is available in english to make your trip easier. The host and his friends are on hand if you need something during your stay. Have a good time in st petersbourg !

We second the reviews posted about this apartment. A not so small matter of non-European tourists – the owners provide a cell phone so you can text them with your questions or make calls in Russia. All you have to do is replace the “card” for a 100 rubles when it runs out. The lady who takes care of the apartment and who gives you the keys does NOT speak English, so if you are not sure about something, engage in some “sign language” or demonstrate that you are following the right directions for the washer, oven, etc. The owners leave explicit directions which you will find on the desk in the living room. The availability of air-conditioning during the buggy Piter summers is a blessing and a aid for blocking out city noises.
Fabulous apartment that I would recommend to mature couples without kids because I would not like to see any of the fine furniture being damaged. The location is great for sightseeing, shopping and theatres. Both Peter and Tatyana are great and very helpful indeed. Overall we had a very good experience and impression of St Petersburg and will definitely visit again.
Fantastic stay. Great central apartment. We felt like “at home”. Kitchen is well equiped – and we cooked a lot. You can easily stay with 6 person. Unfortunately the bed in the African bedroom has a quite small blanket – and only one. (Apologies, our housekeeper must not have been paying attention!)
The location of the aparment could not be better. Just a 5 minute walk from the Hermitage and other famous spots. The Hosts are very helpful and the apartment is a real ***** accomodation.

We stayed in this awesome apartment for several weeks in December 2010. The owners are so great!! They really have a beautiful place and are so generous to rent it out to travelers. They are very gracious people and are there to help you in any way they can. We have small children and they helped us find things for them to do in the middle of the winter. They also helped us with directions and tourist ideas, et al. They are really awesome people and feel really fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet them and stay in their beautiful home. The location of this apartment is great as well. It was comforting to our children to know they could walk down the stairs to McDonalds if we needed to :)….definitely an advantage since we were staying in Russia for several weeks. The rooms are very large and there is plenty of room for a family of 4 to 6. The upgrades in this apartment are so beautiful. Whether you are a couple looking for a romatnic get a way or a family with children – this apartment is just perfect! If we ever have the opportunity to return to St. Petersburg, this is definitely the place we would stay! Good luck!

We, three work colleagues from Finland, stayed in this apartment for three days – and wished we could have stayed longer. The apartment is situated literally next to Nevsky prospekt which makes it a perfect base for walking around the heart of St. Petersburg. For example, it takes only five minutes to walk to the Hermitage and ten minutes to the Kazan Cathedral, where is also the nearest metro station to take you to further away places. The apartment itself is beautiful. Each room is decorated and furnished with a real sense of style – and with love and care. There is absolutely nothing we could complain about the apartment. We wanted to move in!

We’re a group of 5 staying in the apartment in mid-June. The apartment is spacious and well located. Major sights are within walking distance. The service of the Crowleys is attentive. It made our stay in St Pete even more enjoyable.

We are used to rent houses and apartments when we rae travelling abroad , we are renting ourselves a cottage* on our property in the Loire Valley .
This apartemnt is just perfect : spotless, beautiful renovation , very comfortable and safe, a lot of space and light .
Perfect location at only 3 minutes walking from the Ermitage , and most of all the museums,palaces, churches , Mariinsky , concerts hall setc.. are within walking distances .
A week is not enough to discover Sr Petersburg , we ‘ll certainly come back again in this wonderful place, may be in Winter ?

What a wonderful apartment!
For those who want true first class accommodation this is highly recommendable.
We, 4 persons, had a fantastic week in St Petersburg, even it was minus 25C outside.
Every day we looked forward to return to the wonderful and warm apartment after strolling around in the city.
Most, sights are in walking distance. Shops, restaurants, ATM´s, even the Winter Palace are within 5 minutes
7 of us rented the apartment over New Year and had a wonderful stay. The apartment is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and could not be faulted. The location is ideal – a short stagger away from Palace Square! I would definitely stay again.
I was in October 2009 with all my family (8 people) AND is the best large apartment in SPB to rent in comparison of the others that I saw on the internet. Is beautiful and is perfectly located. Ricardo from Mexico.
I hesitate to let the secret out…..after many trips to SPB, this is the best apartment I have seen. Beautiful restoration, superb detail throughout, ideal location(right between the State Russian Museum and the Hermitage)…..high ceilings, very large light and airy rooms, great kitchen, very nice bathroom(s!). This apartment is done by people who really care. I hope this can be my base in St.Petersburg next year and whenever I can make it over there.

This elegant apartment was within walking distance of everything we needed to see in downtown St Petersburg; even with a wheelchair, it was worth it to carry the wheelchair up the one flight stairs every time. I would recommend this apartment to anyone going to St. P and look forward to our next visit!!!
I spent 6 days in St Petersburg with my sister and my parents, who are in their seventies. The apartment was really great, extremely clean and comfortable and with lots of facilities (washing machine, microwave, wifi, dishwasher, fully equiped kitchen and bathrooms, etc). The decoration is really beautiful to the minute detail. The owner’s very detailed instructions about the flat and surroundings, and help with the taxi for the way back to the airport were very helpful and made the whole visit very smooth. Not to mention the location, in the heart on the city and practically next to the Hermitage!
Moneywise, it was cheaper that staying in a hotel, with the advantage that we could have our independence and enjoy relaxed breakfasts with bread from the excellent local bakery.
Being so well looked after has made our visit to St Petersburg a truly wonderful experience. I will not go back to SP unless I manage to stay in Bolshaya Morskaya 11 again.
We had a wonderful stay in the apartment in St. Petersburg during the White Nights. The location is perfect and the wide window sills in the kitchen and living room are great for people watching. Everything was within footsteps of the apartment, including the ATM, groceries, and of course the Hermitage. The apartment is spotless and well provisioned. The Wifi was a big plus, as was the complementary Chrome Book on the desk in the living room. We were 7 adults so we used the fold-outs in the living room and kitchen. Everyone was comfortable. We would definitely come back or recommend it to friends!

Inoltre a pochi passi si trova tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno: negozio alimentari, panetteria, ristoranti, fast food russo Teremok (consigliabile) fermata della metro e dei mezzi pubblici, uffici di cambio, etc. Il proprietario Peter Crowley è stato sempre molto cortese e disponibile rispondendo con sollecitudine ad ogni mia richiesta di aiuto e di chiarimenti.La mia bellissima esperienza a San Pietroburgo è stata resa ancora più meravigliosa grazie a questa dimora. Se mai dovessi ritornare in questa fantastica città, non potrei non sceglie-re di nuovo questo appartamento.
I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals around the world. This one has everything that I look for. The apartment is spacious, recently remodeled to a very high standard, impeccably clean, and right in the center of town. This part of St. Petersburg can be busy at night (horses trotting by; white-night fireworks) but the double glazing mutes the noise. We (two couples) stayed ten days. After a week a thorough cleaning, including a change of linens, was done. There’s plenty of room for storing and hanging clothes in the main bedroom. An open, large steamer trunk provides storage in the second bedroom. Bathroom fixtures and showers are modern. The kitchen appliances occupy a wall in the dining area, so are convenient for gathering around to prepare light meals. The living room can be separated from this by closing opaque glass sliding doors. Large windows look out on the street scene one level down. It is altogether a very good place to stay.
The owner was most helpful, prompt with answers to questions we had before we arrived, and quick to return the security deposit, which got back to PayPal before we got home.
We didn’t find anything negative. The entry hall to the building itself is a bit shabby, but that’s nothing the owner can fix, and you forget it when you enter the apartment. Furnishing in the two large rooms is a bit spare, and another table or so might have been useful for us, but that’s a decorating decision that provides the spaciousness of the rooms. In all, this is a rare opportunity to live in a modern, we’ll-maintained apartment in the center of town.
This is a great apartment in a great location, only a block off Nevsky Prospekt. There are two bedrooms and two showers (one bath). There is also a couch that pulls out into a bed. In our bath/shower there was always hot water, though in the other, hot water was a little spotty. It has new appliances: stove, washer, microwave. New parquet floors (take you shoes off like all Russians do). Tatyana is very knowledgeable and helpful, though her English is spotty. I speak Russian so that was not a problem. If there is a criticism, it would be that the the place could use a couple of coffee tables in front of the two couches. All in all I highly recommend this as a place to stay in St. Petersburg.
Amazing flat 100% authentic and right in the best spot in St Petersburg. I went there for business but would suit any kind of trip experience (family, friends, romantic, business, …).

– we loved the location- very near the Hermitage and walking distance from everything we wanted to see. A 20-25 minute walk straight down Nevksy from the train station.
– excellent condition, extremely clean, and equipped with everything you will need, including dishwasher and clothes washer, Wifi. Even a computer, printer and local cell phone!
– filtered water system was great as Lonely Planet recommends against drinking tap water
– the owners (Peter and Yana) were great and very responsive throughout the entire process from booking to staying to damage deposit refund
– some street noise (people and traffic) throughout the night because it is so central and a 2nd floor. Hard to avoid unless staying well out of the core and away from major roads, which even then is no guarantee. No noise at all from adjacent apartments.
– lots of restaurants of all price ranges nearby, plus lots of stores where it was easy to buy the basics for breakfast and other meals
– Hermitage tip: buy the 2 day pass online and in advance (not available at the Hermitage). Not much more than a 1 day and you will want the extra time.
– we have friends visiting St P next year and have recommended the try to book Peter and Yana’s place
Perfect in every way: location-location-location, immaculately clean, quiet, spacious rooms, well appointed furnishings & thoughtful amenities throughout, a library with English guides & other books, and a very impressive website (the best!) with a ton of helpful information. Most of all, gracious and welcoming owners who responded promptly to every inquiry made sure our 6 nights’ stay was comfortable made all the difference! Tatiana, the cheerful manager who checked us in/out, though she did not speak English, managed expertly with sign language & demos for every appliance, and ordered for us a fixed-price taxi-van to the airport on departure. All transactions were most professionally handled. We are a little hesitant to let word of this absolute gem out, but recommend this apartment unconditionally without reservations.
My family just returned from a 6 night stay in St Petersburg. We found Peter and Yana’s apartment online, and hoped the apartment was as beautiful as the pictures. Not only was the apartment just as spacious, beautiful and immaculate as the photos, but our hosts were incredibly helpful and accomodating.
In my excitement to travel, I began to write Peter months before our trip with all sorts of questions about much more than just the apartment! He was so kind to share his knowledge and advice about everything I needed, well before we even committed to rent.
When the time came to prepare, he made suggestions to make our trip and logistics better and I felt I found a friend in someone I had never met.
This apartment is a home with so many attributes in a fabulous location..it allowed us to gather and visit in a way that couldn’t happen at a hotel, for a much better price split 5 ways!
In addition Peter and Yana shared everything in the apartment! The PC, the mobile phone, and all the tour books and information to browse far exceeded our expectations!

The Perfect Place to stay in Petersburg
We just returned from two chilly but fabulous weeks in St. Petersburg. The day after we returned home, I checked the calendar for this property’s availability in June! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The location is better than perfect, and the apartment has everything you could possibly need or want. I had a couple of questions after we arrived, and I was able to get those answered immediately. I can’t think of any reason to hesitate – this should be your first choice for a vacation rental in St. Petersburg!
Stayed for a week in early September in this great apartment. Spacious and recently remodeled. Perfect locations – one block to the metro and Nevisky Prospect – 3-5 minute walk to the Hermaitage Museum. The owners, Peter and Yana, live in Ireland but still provided helpful information and Tatiana serves as your local greeter and host and all do a speldid job. Highly recommend this place to all – you won’t be disappointed.
The apartment is immaculate. The location is ideal (although a little noisy!).
The administration of the rental is very professional and easy. The amenities are also very good. It was very convenient to have wifi, a t.v., washer, and even a local phone if needed. Our local tour guide was quite impressed by our accommodations too!

Our entire family of 8 persons stayed in Peter & Yana’s apartment on Bolshaya Morskaya this month in august 2012, and we loved it!!
The location of the apartment was great -right in the center of the city and a short walk from the Hermitage and all the center city museums & attractions and only 1 minute walk from admiralteiskaya metro station. The service was wonderful, and hospitality was warm. We were treated royally! The apartment also had a nice kitchen with all the appliances including microwave, fridge, stove, oven, & dishwasher; also a washing machine to wash clothes plus towels, soap, hair products & other useful travel items.
We greatly recommend this as luxuruous center-city accomodations with great service!!!
All was exactly as described. The owners are very helpful, and of course honest. The apartment is very clean, tastefully decorated, and and the kitchen is a treat. The location was incredible — just off Nevsky Prspt, a few hundred meters from the Hermitage. Restaurants very convenient, as was food and beer/wine/spirits shopping. The McDonalds downstairs was not an issue — even at night we could never hear noise — since the walls are so thick. We were there for a week, and the apartment made life easy for us.
Our stay in St. Petersburg was fantastic. The flat is very modern, open and airy. It was perfectly located within walking distance to all attractions and the kitchen was very convenient for making a few meals at home. It easily slept 6 people and it was obvious that much care and attention has gone into this place as it has all the comforts of home, including a speedy Internet connection! The owners were very helpful when it came to answering questions about visa registration, arranging taxis and being flexible with check in and check out times. Our deposit was returned promptly after check out. We would absolutely recommend anyone to stay in this flat given the opportunity!!
We stayed for 2 nights in this apartment, just off of Nevsky and it was perfect. We had 2 families, so we were looking for a place with 2 bathrooms. Between the 2 families, there were 4 adults and 5 kids, ages 6 – 12. The owners were accommodating of our situation and offered to get an extra mattress for the one kid who didn’t have a bed (the other 4 doubled up on the sofa beds).
The apartment is beautifully remodeled, easy to find, convenient to all the sites of Moscow and has McDonalds on the first floor. We’ve rented apartments in St. Pete and other European cities many times, and this was by far our best experience. You won’t be sorry if you rent this apartment! I highly recommend it.
This apartment is stunning, exceptionally clean with all western amenities provided. We were met promptly at the pre-arranged time and instructions were also provided in English. Our greeter also arranged a taxi home, which met us at the appointed time, knew where we where going and the pre-arranged fair. The location is outstanding, just steps from the Hermitage, many other sights and the metro. Peter was a wonderful, very helpful host! Highly recommended.

My only advice would be to rent this appartment without any hesitation. Everything is organized to make you have good time and to feel you at home. The decoration is very beautiful and the location is just perfect (closed to nevski and ermitage museum). A lot of info is available in english to make your trip easier. The host and his friends are on hand if you need something during your stay. Have a good time in st petersbourg !
We stayed 5 days at this wonderful place. The apartment is even nicer than on the pictures. Tatyana is great and gave us a warm welcome. Peter was a perfect host and everything was absolutely fine. It is definitely one of the best places to stay in Piter. We are already planing to come back, this time in summer!

It was great to stay in this wonderful apartment which is nicely renovated and perfectly central located. We fully enjoyed our trip in St. Petersburg with this place to relax and start new seeings.
We second the reviews posted about this apartment. A not so small matter of non-European tourists – the owners provide a cell phone so you can text them with your questions or make calls in Russia. All you have to do is replace the “card” for a 100 rubles when it runs out. The lady who takes care of the apartment and who gives you the keys does NOT speak English, so if you are not sure about something, engage in some “sign language” or demonstrate that you are following the right directions for the washer, oven, etc. The owners leave explicit directions which you will find on the desk in the living room. The availability of air-conditioning during the buggy Piter summers is a blessing and a aid for blocking out city noises.
Fabulous apartment that I would recommend to mature couples without kids because I would not like to see any of the fine furniture being damaged. The location is great for sightseeing, shopping and theatres. Both Peter and Tatyana are great and very helpful indeed. Overall we had a very good experience and impression of St Petersburg and will definitely visit again.
Fantastic stay. Great central apartment. We felt like “at home”. Kitchen is well equiped – and we cooked a lot. You can easily stay with 6 person. Unfortunately the bed in the African bedroom has a quite small blanket – and only one. (Apologies, our housekeeper must not have been paying attention!)
The location of the aparment could not be better. Just a 5 minute walk from the Hermitage and other famous spots. The Hosts are very helpful and the apartment is a real ***** accomodation.
We will definitely come back for another visit. 4 days in this city are definitely to short.
We stayed in this awesome apartment for several weeks in December 2010. The owners are so great!! They really have a beautiful place and are so generous to rent it out to travelers. They are very gracious people and are there to help you in any way they can. We have small children and they helped us find things for them to do in the middle of the winter. They also helped us with directions and tourist ideas, et al. They are really awesome people and feel really fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet them and stay in their beautiful home. The location of this apartment is great as well. It was comforting to our children to know they could walk down the stairs to McDonalds if we needed to :)….definitely an advantage since we were staying in Russia for several weeks. The rooms are very large and there is plenty of room for a family of 4 to 6. The upgrades in this apartment are so beautiful. Whether you are a couple looking for a romatnic get a way or a family with children – this apartment is just perfect! If we ever have the opportunity to return to St. Petersburg, this is definitely the place we would stay! Good luck!

We, three work colleagues from Finland, stayed in this apartment for three days – and wished we could have stayed longer. The apartment is situated literally next to Nevsky prospekt which makes it a perfect base for walking around the heart of St. Petersburg. For example, it takes only five minutes to walk to the Hermitage and ten minutes to the Kazan Cathedral, where is also the nearest metro station to take you to further away places. The apartment itself is beautiful. Each room is decorated and furnished with a real sense of style – and with love and care. There is absolutely nothing we could complain about the apartment. We wanted to move in!

We’re a group of 5 staying in the apartment in mid-June. The apartment is spacious and well located. Major sights are within walking distance. The service of the Crowleys is attentive. It made our stay in St Pete even more enjoyable.
We stayed in the apartment from June 16-20, 2010 during our first visit to Saint Petersburg. The Crowleys are wonderful hosts. From the first time I found them on the web they have been most helpful and gracious and made us very welcome. Arranging the visit and entry and exit from the apartment was very easy.
The apartment was even better than portrayed on the website. Everything is very well done. Top notch furniture, finishes and appliances. The location is perfect. Easy walking distance to Hermitage, shopping on Nevsky Prospect, Saint Isaac’s, Admiralty, Metro, boat to Peterhof, etc.

We stayed last week in this wonderful apartment, my husband and I , for a week .
We are used to rent houses and apartments when we rae travelling abroad , we are renting ourselves a cottage* on our property in the Loire Valley .
This apartemnt is just perfect : spotless, beautiful renovation , very comfortable and safe, a lot of space and light .
Perfect location at only 3 minutes walking from the Ermitage , and most of all the museums,palaces, churches , Mariinsky , concerts hall setc.. are within walking distances .
A week is not enough to discover Sr Petersburg , we ‘ll certainly come back again in this wonderful place, may be in Winter ?

What a wonderful apartment!
For those who want true first class accommodation this is highly recommendable.
We, 4 persons, had a fantastic week in St Petersburg, even it was minus 25C outside.
Every day we looked forward to return to the wonderful and warm apartment after strolling around in the city.
Most, sights are in walking distance. Shops, restaurants, ATM´s, even the Winter Palace are within 5 minutes

7 of us rented the apartment over New Year and had a wonderful stay. The apartment is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and could not be faulted. The location is ideal – a short stagger away from Palace Square! I would definitely stay again.

I hesitate to let the secret out…..after many trips to SPB, this is the best apartment I have seen. Beautiful restoration, superb detail throughout, ideal location(right between the State Russian Museum and the Hermitage)…..high ceilings, very large light and airy rooms, great kitchen, very nice bathroom(s!). This apartment is done by people who really care. I hope this can be my base in St.Petersburg next year and whenever I can make it over there.
